Well the temperature is hot in St. Louis, but there are cool colors to look at in the landscape.  The flowers right now are blooming with a variety of colors with a lush green background even though some plants are wilting from the extreme heats.   I aim to paint at different times of the day to view the changes of natural light on the landscape from dawn to dusk.   Along with the outside inspirations I have also been trying to mix mediums in my art work.  Combining different medium is another whole challenge for me, but I know it will turn out great in the long run.
